Biography


LUCY KAVALER is the author of 17 books – historical fiction, biography and non-fiction, hard-cover and paperback, published in the U.S. and abroad. Excerpts have been featured in many publications, including Cosmopolitan,Reader's Digest, McCall's, Smithsonian,and in major anthologies. She has been featured as a biographer and social historian on television. Original manuscripts are maintained in the archives of three universities. She was awarded a Sloan-Rockefeller fellowship at Columbia University, and has lectured there and at Fordham.
